Gabriel Magalhães scored the decisive goal as Arsenal claimed a 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in a tightly contested North London derby on September 15.

The defender’s 64th-minute header was enough to separate the two rivals, ensuring the Gunners remained in the top two of the Premier League standings.

Despite the absence of captain Martin Odegaard and midfielder Declan Rice due to injury and suspension, Arsenal managed to hold off Spurs, who have now lost three consecutive home derbies under manager Ange Postecoglou.

Tottenham showed more intent in the second half, dominating possession, but were unable to capitalize on their chances.

Raya’s crucial saves denied Dejan Kulusevski, while Tottenham goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario made a fine stop to thwart Kai Havertz. Arsenal’s resilience paid off, securing a vital win in the heated rivalry.
