Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has officially signed a new three-year contract extension, securing his future at the north London club until the summer of 2027.
The Spaniard, a former captain of Arsenal, had been the subject of much speculation regarding his future as his previous contract was set to expire next summer.
The new deal comes as a relief to fans who had feared Arteta might be lured away by other clubs, including Barcelona and Manchester City.
