The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially deployed 1,593 corps members to Gombe State for the 2024 Batch “C” Stream 1 Orientation exercise.
This announcement was made in a statement on Wednesday by Ms. Jennifer Laha, the Head of Information and Public Relations Unit of the NYSC in Gombe.
According to Laha, the corps members are expected to report to the NYSC Temporary Orientation Camp located in Amada, within the Akko Local Government Area of the state.
The NYSC 2024 Batch “C” Stream 1 Orientation Course is set to run from November 27 to December 17, 2024, across the country.
A total of 1,593 prospective corps members have been deployed to Gombe State for the exercise.

Laha urged the newly deployed corps members to report early to the camp, ensuring they have made all necessary arrangements for their comfort.
She also advised them to avoid traveling at night and to use only designated motor parks when boarding vehicles.
In her statement, Laha called on the people of Gombe State to extend their usual warmth and hospitality to the incoming corps members.
