Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has urged youths to pursue skill development for economic independence and overall growth.
The Governor said this during a two-day youth summit on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in Yola on Wednesday.
He emphasized that his administration has consistently prioritized youths, particularly in education, entrepreneurship, and various other sectors, placing them at the forefront of its programs and projects.
He praised the participants’ enthusiasm for acquiring new ICT skills at the summit, recognizing it as a testament to their determination to succeed and contribute to the state’s development.

Urging youths to embrace innovation, continuous learning, and collaboration, he emphasized the importance of working together to build Adamawa into a prosperous state that future generations will take pride in.
Earlier in her remarks, the convener of the programme, who is the Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth Empowerment, Safrat Dungus said the summit was organized to empower youths and shape their future.
