Utomi’s NCFront expresses readiness to wrestle power from APC

The National Consultative Front, NCFront, has announced its readiness to unveil   the much talked about mega political party to democratically wrestle power from the ruling party, All Progressive Congress (APC) in the 2023 general elections.

NCFront in a press statement signed by the administrative officer at its national secretariat in Abuja, Ms Bilikis Bello, said the alternative mega party is scheduled to be formally unveiled in Lagos on Monday February 7.

According to the statement made available to News Express, the unveiling is meant to coincide with the 65th birthday of the leader of the mass political movement, Professor Pat Utomi.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the national leadership of the third force movement in Nigeria under the auspices of the National Consultative Front, NCFront, consequent upon the resolutions of the Emergency Meeting of the National Steering Council of the NCFront with Stakeholders of the Third Force Movement held last week, will be unveiling the much awaited mega alternative people’s Party of the Leaders of Conscience in Nigeria on Monday, 7th February, 2022, immediately after a major Harmonisation and Consummation Retreat slated to hold this weekend in Lagos.

“This is sequel to the forwarding of formal invitation letters, dated 24th January, 2022 and signed by Co-chair of NCFront, Prof Pat Utomi, on behalf of the Conveners of the all-important meeting, to all leaders, stakeholders and partners eligible to attend this crucial closed door Harmonisation Parley, aimed at facilitating a formidable democratic alternative mega political party capable of rescuing Nigeria from the misrule and failed leadership of the ruling APC and PDP through the ballot in 2023 given the growing bloc support from the Nigerian Youths, Women and the Diasporans,” the statement said.

Formal invitation has already been forwarded to political stalwarts, captains of industries and others including Prof Attahiru Jega, Dr Olisa Agbakoba, SAN, Rt Hon Ghali Umar Naa’aba, Dr Usman Bugaje, Barr Femi Falana, SAN, Prof Kingsley Moghalu, Dr Oby Ezekwesili, Prince Adewole Adebayo, Esq, Prof Mrs Remi Sonaiya, Hadjia Najatu Mohammed, Lady Khadija Okunnu-Lamidi and Mallam Falalu Bello.

Others are Senator Saidu Dansadau, Barr Dan Nwayanwu, Chief Raph Okey Nwosu, Comrade Bishop Amakiri, Barr Promise Adewusi, Mni, Dr Tanko Yunusa, HC Peter Ameh, Arc Ezekiel Nya Etok, Hon Dr Olubunmi Usim Wilson, Hon Mrs Janet Adeyemi, Barr Mrs Georgina Dakpokpo, Dr Chris Ekiyor, Sir Olawale Okunniyi and Key Strategic Allies and Partners of the NCFront in the Labour, Civil Society and Youth Movements, among others.

The Monday unveiling, according to the statement, will be preceded by a strategic meeting on Saturday, followed by a closed door harmonisation and fusion retreat for invited leaders of conscience and selected leaders of the Third Force Movement on Sunday.
