There are indications that the Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, made it Known that he has retired from Active Politics. It should be recalled that Chief Olusegun Obasanjo tore his membership card, as the Member of the Peoples Democratic Party PDP.

Though, Chief Obasanjo had been supporting credible Personality, to become the President of the country. He supported General Muhammadu Buhari, to become the President in 2015 Presidential race.

However, Chief Obasanjo may support some credible Personalities, to become the President in 2023. It should be recalled that, the Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, recently visited Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta. It was rumoured that his visitation was all about his Presidential Ambition.

Though, the outcome of their meeting, was not revealed but Obasanjo may not support the candidature of Atiku and any Presidential Aspirant, who is not Youth.

It should be recalled that Atiku contested Presidential race in 2019, under the Platform of the PDP. Meanwhile, Atiku was interviewed by Journalist, after the meeting he held with Chief Obasanjo and he made it Known to the Public that he always get the ticket of PDP and he will still get the Presidential ticket of the Party in 2023.

One of the Presidential Aspirant, that may get the support of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, is the Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal. Tambuwal can get the support of Chief Obasanjo because he is still very young and vibrant.

It should be recalled that Chief Obasanjo had earlier made it Known that the Youths, should be given the Privilege to Paddle the affairs of the nation.

It should be recalled that Chief Obasanjo, had earlier applauded Governor Aminu Tambuwal, over the construction of Flyover Bridge, worth of 3.4 Billion Naira Project. Chief Obasanjo described Tambuwal as Talented and visionary Leader, who has constructive mind.

The outstanding Performance of Aminu Tambuwal, as Governor of the State, may give him the Privilege to get the support of Chief Olusegun Obasanjo.

Another Politician that Chief Obasanjo can support, Akinwumi Adesina. It was reliably gathered that Chief Obasanjo has made some moves, to draft the President of African Development Bank AFDB, Dr Akinwumi Adesina into Presidential race.

Though, Akinwumi Adesina has not declared openly to contest Presidential race but it was gathered that Chief Obasanjo, may drag him into Presidential race and convince him to contest in 2023.

It should be recalled that Akinwumi Adesina, was the Former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development. He Performed well as Minister of Agriculture, before he became the President of the African Development Bank AFDB.Though, Akinwumi is an economist who can take the economy of the Country to greater heights, if given the opportunity to contest Presidential race. And the Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo may Support him.
