2023: 2 personalities that may replace Tinubu if he decides not to contest

It is no more news that the All Progressives Congress APC and the former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu may contest Presidential race under the Platform of the Party in 2023.

It should be recalled that Tinubu declared his Presidential Ambition to the Public, when he visited President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential villa in Abuja.

Tinubu may not be favoured to get the Presidential ticket, under the Platform of APC, However, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu needs to be replaced by a vibrant Political Personality from the South, to take the mantle of Leadership from President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Political Personality that may be used to replace Tinubu, may not necessarily be from the same Political Party, with him but he must be an intelligent Personality like him.

One Political Personality that can be used to replace Tinubu from the South, if he decides to contest Presidential race, under the platform of the Party, is the former Minister of Agriculture, and the President of African Development Bank AFDB, Dr Akinwumi Adesina.

Akinwumi Adesina had recently been endorsed by the Pressure Group under the aegis of Youth Arise Movement YAM.

The Leader of the Group, Mr Yusuf said the former Minister of Agriculture is globally Known and respected development economist, with sound understanding of Macroeconomic, fiscal, Governance, sectorial and Policy issues to drive faster Pace development for Nigeria.

Mr Yusuf also described Adesina, as a detribalized Nigerian. He stated further that Femi Adesina is much loved and trusted in the north, where his Programs as Minister of Agriculture transformed northern Nigeria.

All this accolades given to Akinwumi Adesina, shows that he is competent enough, and can be used to replace Tinubu from the South in 2023.

Though, Akinwumi Adesina has never come out openly, to declare his interest to contest Presidential race but with the recent endorsement given to him by YAM, it shows that he will be a very good Presidential Candidate to take the mantle of Leadership from President Muhammadu Buhari, and he may be used to replace Tinubu.

Another Political Personality that may be used to replace Tinubu, is the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo. It should be recalled that Osinbajo has been endorsed by various Political Pressure Group in the North.

Though, Osinbajo has not declared his interest to contest Presidential race in 2023 but there is a clear indication that he may also contest Presidential race under the Platform of APC.

Recently, the Former Head of State, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, described Osinbajo as the most credible Personality, to take the mantle of Leadership from President Muhammadu Buhari.

It should be recalled that General Babangida, had earlier advised Nigerians, not to vote for anyone who is more than sixty years of Age. This shows that Osinbajo will get the support of the Northern Leaders, to become the President, if Tinubu could not emerge as President.
