Benign prostate enlargement (BPE) is the word used for describing an enlarged prostate, a medical condition that can impact the way you pee (urinate).
BPE usually occurs in men above the age of 50. It’s not cancer and it’s not a severe threat to health.
Many men have the feeling that having an enlarged prostate means they have an increased risk of developing prostate cancer. This is not the case.
Some of the tbs symptoms of prostate cancer include.
• Problem starting to pee.
• Needing to pee.
• Problem fully emptying your bladder.
In some men, the symptoms are not severe and do not require treatment. In others, they can be very serious.
