APC National Chairman, Nentawe Yilwatda, was also appointed Vice Chairman, while the party’s National Secretary, Ajibola Bashiru, and Hadiza Bala-Usman will serve as Deputy and Assistant Secretaries respectively.

The council’s advisory body comprises former APC National Chairman Bisi Akande, veteran politician Segun Osoba, former Imo State Governor Rochas Okorocha, former APC National Chairman Abdullahi Adamu and Florence Ita-Giwa.

They will coordinate regional activities alongside Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele and Deputy Senate President Jibril Barau.

Former Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole will oversee mobilisation as Deputy Director-General, while the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, will handle administration.

James Faleke, who played a prominent role in the APC’s 2023 presidential campaign, returns as Deputy Director-General for Election Planning, Coordination and Monitoring.

Idris will work with Dele Alake, Bayo Onanuga and Lanre Issa-Onilu, while Tunde Rahman, Sunday Dare, Daniel Bwala and Felix Morka will serve as coordinating deputy directors.

Segun Dada returns as Director of New Media, with Solomon Arowolo as Secretary.

The campaign council also named five spokespersons led by Dele Alake, alongside Alwan Hassan, Ayobami Oyalowo, Kemi Asekun-Shittu and Adamu Fanda.

Onanuga said Tinubu charged members of the council to work tirelessly towards securing victory for the APC in the 2027 presidential election.

The President also urged campaign officials to engage party members who were not formally listed but could contribute to the campaign.

Tinubu said the APC would campaign on its record in office, arguing that the administration had delivered on its promises and placed the country on a path of economic recovery.

He urged the campaign team to highlight the government’s achievements and present its policies as a basis for securing another mandate.

The appointments mark the early mobilisation of the ruling party ahead of the 2027 presidential contest, with the APC expected to deploy its political structure and campaign machinery across the country in the months ahead.
