Chelsea star Enzo Fernández agrees terms with Manchester City

“Enzo Fernández has a verbal agreement with Manchester City on personal terms,” Romano wrote.

“Deal depends on club-to-club decision, as #MCFC have not sent an official bid yet, but contacts will take place soon; decision on price is up to Chelsea.”

Romano also suggested that Fernández’s immediate future at Chelsea could be uncertain, revealing that the midfielder could miss action again this weekend.

The situation leaves Chelsea with a major decision to make as City weigh up a move for the midfielder. While Fernández has reportedly made his preference clear, the transfer cannot be completed until both clubs agree on the financial terms.
