How using a nonstick pot or fry pan exposes you to cancer
Researchers have discovered that some fry pans have certain chemicals that can predispose you to cancer. According to Healthline, they are called nonstick pots or fry pans. They have a black coating inside.
If you use them to fry foods, they won’t stick to the pot or fry pan because of the coating. Some of us prefer using nonstick fry pans to fry eggs and fish because they won’t stick to them. You don’t even need to use a lot of oil to fry your food.
These pots and fry pans are also easy to wash. However, using them to cook can put you at risk of cancer of the liver, which is one of the killer diseases worldwide.
When these pans or pots are very hot, they can emit poisonous chemicals into the air, especially when you heat them before pouring vegetable oil into them. If you inhale the emitted chemicals, they can cause headaches, fevers, or damage to your lungs.
Another dangerous thing is that some people use iron sponges to wash these coated pans or pots, which scrape the chemicals into your food. The black coating is known as Teflon. It is made from carbon.
They’re also known as “forever chemicals” because they don’t degenerate. You can use the frying pan for a long time and the chemicals won’t fade away. It’s the same chemical used in making fire-resistant products and coating electrical wires.
This chemical can alter your hormones, weaken your immune system, and cause kidney or liver disorders. If you want to reduce your risk of cancer conditions, ensure that your pots and fry pans don’t have coatings inside.
