Meet a Nigerian woman that is currently serving as the ambassador of United Kingdom to Mozambique
NneNne Iwuji Eme is a British diplomat currently serving as the ambassador of the United Kingdom to Mozambique.
Born and raised in Cornwall, England, by her Nigerian parents of Igbo descent who worked for the United Nations, Iwuji was educated at the University of Manchester, England, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics. In 1999, she officially worked as an economic advisor to the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and for the Royal Dutch Shell. Three years later, she served as Head of Africa for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Transition Economies in its Economic Policy Department.
