According to Skepta, Nigerians are often perceived as resilient people who continue to thrive despite challenges, but he stressed that many citizens are struggling and need support.
“There is so much injustice in Nigeria,” he said.
The rapper noted that he intends to continue using his platform, performances, and public influence to speak against injustice whenever possible.
“Whenever I can — whether it is at my shows, verbally or through images — we are going to speak up for injustice at all times,” he stated.
Skepta also urged people around the world not to overlook the realities many Nigerians face daily.
“I know that we Nigerians are resilient and we make everything look good, but we need help too. Please, help us,” he appealed.
His comments come amid growing public conversations around insecurity, kidnappings, violent attacks, and economic hardship across different parts of Nigeria, with several entertainers and public figures recently calling for urgent action from authorities.
