Turkish pundit backs Osimhen’s Arsenal move, reveals one key condition
Turkish football pundit Serdar Ali Çelikler has claimed that Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen could make a move to Arsenal if the Premier League club demonstrates a serious commitment to signing the Nigerian international.
Osimhen has continued to attract interest from some of Europe’s leading clubs, with Arsenal reportedly among the teams monitoring his situation during the summer transfer window.
Speaking on the Neo Spor YouTube channel, Çelikler argued that Arsenal’s seriousness could be the decisive factor in determining whether Osimhen leaves Galatasaray for the Premier League.
According to the pundit, the Nigerian striker would be unlikely to turn down an opportunity to join Arsenal if the London club makes a firm approach for his services.
“There’s no way any Nigerian footballer could say ‘no’ to England, especially to Arsenal,” Ali Çelikler said.
He added: “If Arsenal are serious, Osimhen will go.”
The comments have added further fuel to speculation surrounding the 27-year-old forward, who has been one of the most sought-after strikers in European football following his performances in recent seasons.

Osimhen’s goalscoring record and physical presence have made him an attractive option for clubs seeking a proven centre-forward, while his experience in both domestic and European competitions has further strengthened his profile.
Arsenal’s reported interest comes amid the club’s efforts to maintain a competitive squad capable of challenging for major honours. A move for Osimhen would potentially provide the Gunners with another high-profile attacking option.
The Nigerian, however, remains contracted to Galatasaray, meaning any potential transfer would depend on negotiations between the Turkish club, Arsenal and the player’s representatives.
Meanwhile, Osimhen continued his impressive goalscoring form for Galatasaray on Friday, scoring twice in the club’s 2-2 draw against Çorum FK in the Turkish Super Lig.
His brace further underlined his importance to the Turkish champions and is likely to intensify speculation about his future as clubs assess their options in the transfer market.
For now, there has been no official confirmation from Arsenal or Osimhen regarding a potential transfer. Çelikler’s comments therefore represent his assessment of the situation rather than confirmation that a deal between the player and Arsenal is imminent.
