UNIBEN Releases Post-UTME Screening Results, clarifies “Not Admitted” Status.

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has officially released the results of its recently concluded Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening exercises. Candidates can now access their scores directly via their UNIBEN portal accounts.

Dr. Benedicta Ehanire, the institution’s Public Relations Officer, announced that UNIBEN “Releases Post-UTME on Tuesday” in a statement from the university’s headquarters in Benin City, Edo State.

Addressing concerns over the “NOT ADMITTED” status currently visible on some candidates’ result slips, Dr. Ehanire urged applicants not to be alarmed. She clarified that this status is not a final indication of admission outcomes.

According to Dr. Ehanire, the admission process has officially begun and will continue until October 31, in alignment with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) timeline. All candidates who scored 50 percent and above in the screening test are eligible to be considered for admission, pending compliance with recommended admission guidelines.

She further assured that:

“Further details on the admission process will be released in due course.”

Candidates are advised to regularly check their UNIBEN portal pages for updates and additional information as the admission exercise progresses.
