Eriata Ese advises women against revenge cheating

Nigerian media personality Eriata Ese has cautioned women against engaging in “revenge infidelity” after experiencing betrayal in relationships or marriage.

In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress argued that cheating in retaliation does not bring healing or emotional closure, but instead prolongs pain and emotional damage.

According to her, many women who give their best in relationships still experience betrayal, but responding with infidelity only deepens emotional wounds.

“Cheating back will never give you closure,” she wrote.

Eriata explained that retaliatory cheating often leaves individuals trapped in the same cycle of hurt and emotional emptiness they originally suffered from.

She also urged women to focus on personal healing, emotional growth, self-improvement, and spiritual development rather than seeking temporary validation through revenge.

“Your biggest payback is becoming a version of yourself that even he cannot reach,” she stated.

The media personality further encouraged women to take time to heal properly and choose healthier relationships in the future, stressing that unresolved emotional trauma can make people repeatedly ignore warning signs in relationships.

She concluded by advising women to walk away from relationships that cannot be repaired rather than responding with more betrayal.

“If it cannot be fixed, let it go. Do not cheat back,” she added.
