Toyota Motor Show is set to return to Lagos on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, as Toyota Nigeria Limited launches the third edition of its flagship automotive exhibition, featuring test drives, interactive sessions, entertainment, and free vehicle diagnostics for attendees.

The four-day event, scheduled to hold at The Podium, 124 Tunde Kuboye Road, Lekki, Lagos, will run from June 2 to June 6, with no activities planned for Friday, June 5. Admission is free, and organizers say the programme is designed to deepen public engagement with Toyota’s products while offering practical services to vehicle owners and prospective buyers.

According to Toyota Nigeria Limited, the 2026 edition will combine automobile exhibitions with experiential learning, entertainment, and customer service support, targeting motorists, students, and automotive enthusiasts across the state.

Activities on the opening day will include a showcase of Toyota’s latest models alongside supervised test drives of selected vehicles. The day will also feature a live recording of Toyota’s newly introduced podcast, PodCARst, which will explore automotive culture and mobility trends.

A celebrity guest, Soma, is expected to join Toyota executives in a conversation centered on cars, lifestyle, and evolving consumer preferences in Nigeria’s automotive market.

The second day of the exhibition is dedicated to students and young professionals, with debates, quiz competitions, and interactive workshops. Actress Kate Henshaw is billed to participate in the youth-focused sessions, where she will engage attendees and encourage educational development through creative engagement.

Organisers say the segment is aimed at promoting awareness of automotive innovation while also inspiring youth participation in technology and mobility-related discussions.

On Thursday, social media personality Mama Deola will lead guided tours of the exhibition grounds, providing insights into Toyota’s lineup, including popular models such as the Toyota Hilux and Toyota Corolla. The sessions will also highlight how these vehicles perform under Nigerian road conditions and fuel environments.

The event will conclude on Saturday with another live recording of PodCARst, featuring influencer Ride With Mee. The closing day will also host the “Toyota Bump Off,” an entertainment segment led by media personality Dotun, combining music performances, outdoor games, prizes, and additional test-drive opportunities.

Throughout the exhibition, attendees will have access to free vehicle diagnostic checks conducted by Toyota technicians. Visitors will also be able to test-drive selected models, including the Toyota Camry, Toyota RAV4, and Hilux, as well as explore Toyota’s latest mobility solutions.

Toyota Nigeria Limited said the initiative is part of its broader strategy to strengthen customer relationships and create more interactive platforms for Nigerians to engage directly with its products and services.

The company urged members of the public to attend the event, describing it as an opportunity to experience innovation, entertainment, and automotive education in a single setting.
