Benign prostate enlargement (BPE) is the word used for describing an enlarged prostate, a medical condition that can impact the way you pee (urinate).

BPE usually occurs in men above the age of 50. It’s not cancer and it’s not a severe threat to health.

Many men have the feeling that having an enlarged prostate means they have an increased risk of developing prostate cancer. This is not the case.

The possibility of getting prostate cancer is no greater for men with an enlarged prostate than it is for men without an enlarged prostate.

Some of the tbs symptoms of prostate cancer include.

• Problem starting to pee.

• Needing to pee.

• Problem fully emptying your bladder.

In some men, the symptoms are not severe and do not require treatment. In others, they can be very serious.

Some of the things you consume that cause an enlarged prostate.

1. Red meat: Studies have indicated that going red meat-free may help enhance the health of the prostate. Day to day intake of meat is seen to triple your chance of getting prostate enlargement.

2. Dairy: Also, regular intake of dairy has been associated with an increased risk of BPH. Lessening butter, cheese, and milk may help lower the symptoms of BPH.

3. Caffeine: Caffeine may serve as a diuretic, which portrays that it increases how much, how often, and how urgently a person has to pass out urine. Lessening coffee, tea, soda, and chocolate consumption may enhance urinary symptoms of BPH.

4. Alcohol: Alcohol consumption can also stimulate urine production. Men with BPH may find that their symptoms are improved by lowering the intake of alcohol.

5. Sodium: Consuming a high salt diet may make the urinary tract symptoms associated with BPH aggravate. Following a low-sodium diet by not adding salt to meals and doing away with processed foods may assist some men.
