Sanwo-Olu dedicates  National Daily Award to Lagos residents

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Friday dedicated his award by National Daily newspaper as Innovation and Infrastructure Governor of the Year to the good people of Lagos State.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo before the presentation of the award by the Chairman of the event, Prince Julius Adelusi Adeluyi, noted that Sanwo-Olu deserved the award of excellence considering his performance. The former President, stating  that the is a truly deserved honour, congratulated Governor Sanwo-Olu for being the recipient of National Daily’s Innovation and Infrastructure award, and wished the more power to deliver more to the people.

Sanwo-Olu extended the congratulatory message to the residents of the state.

“This      award   is  not for me   alone;    I want to extend the congratulatory messages to the entire team in Lagos,      there are several people here deserving awards.”

Sanwo-Olu further declared: “I   dedicate this award to the good people of Lagos State who have continued to support us, continue to  believe in what we are doing and what we know how to do best.”

Governor   Sanwo-Olu,  thereafter,  left  for another award by another organisation.
