Sanwo-Olu, IGP arrive Oriental Hotel for National Daily Awards
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State on Friday evening arrived the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, for the National Daily Awards. The Governor arrived with the Inspector General of Police,IGP Usman Alkali Baba, recipient of Man of the Year award.

Sanwo-Olu was accompanied to the award ceremony by officials of the Lagos State Government. Sanwo-Olu is receiving the Innovation and Infrastructure Governor of the Year.
Former President Obasanjo, walked into the hall soon after the arrival of the governor.

One of the award recipients, Engr. Ernest Ndukwe, former Vice Chairman of the Nigerian Communications Commission, (NCC), was received on arrival by the CEO/Editor-in-Chief of National Daily Newspaper. Engr. Ndukwe was listed for Induction into National Daily Hall of Fame and Lifetime Achievement for his revolutionary reforms in the telecommunications industry while heading NCC, beside other contributions to the development of the country.
Kanayo O. Kanayo, a famous Nollywood actor, is among the recipients received on arrival.
