In a significant boost to Nigeria’s automotive sector, New Era Autovehicle Services Limited, in collaboration with Jetour Mobility Services Nigeria Limited, on Wednesday, June 18, officially unveiled the country’s first exclusive Jetour showroom in Lekki, Lagos.

The landmark event marks a bold step in the evolution of Nigeria’s auto retail landscape, bringing premium mobility solutions closer to discerning Nigerian consumers.

The state-of-the-art showroom, which will cater exclusively to Jetour vehicles, was unveiled amid a grand ceremony graced by top industry players, business executives, and auto enthusiasts. Chief Michael Ade-Ojo, Chairman of Toyota Nigeria Limited and a revered figure in Nigeria’s automotive sector, was the Guest of Honour and commissioned the facility.

In his remarks, Chief Ade.Ojo praised the Jetour brand, describing it as a visionary initiative and the suitability for Nigeria’s terrain, pointing to its durability, innovation, and climate-conscious engineering.

“Jetour is more than just an automobile; it’s a rugged, reliable partner designed to thrive in Nigeria’s demanding conditions,” Chief Ade.Ojo stated. “Its blend of style, substance, and advanced features offers a compelling alternative for both individuals and institutions.”

Delivering the keynote address, Mrs. Kemi Koyejo, Managing Director of New Era Autovehicle Services Limited, described the showroom’s launch as a transformative moment for the Nigerian auto industry.

“This is not merely the opening of a retail outlet — it is the dawn of a new era in how Nigerians experience mobility,” Koyejo said. “We are proud to bring Jetour’s full line-up — from luxury SUVs to cutting-edge electric and hybrid models — directly to the Nigerian market through a dedicated and customer-centric platform.”

According to her, the ultra-modern facility is more than a sales hub; it is a comprehensive automotive solution center that offers after-sales support, flexible financing, trade-in services, and certified pre-owned options. She also stressed the brand’s commitment to environmental responsibility, noting Jetour’s growing range of hybrid and electric vehicles.

“Our goal is not only to provide access to high-quality vehicles but to lead the drive toward sustainable transportation in Nigeria,” she added.

Koyejo also acknowledged the strategic support from Jetour Mobility Services Nigeria Limited and paid tribute to her business partner, Mr. Raf Abanum, for his steadfast support in bringing the vision to life.

The launch event featured a guided tour of the showroom, giving guests a firsthand look at Jetour’s robust vehicle line-up, including stylish family SUVs, adventure-ready off-roaders, and eco-friendly electric options. Visitors commended the facility’s modern design and customer-focused layout.

Industry watchers say the arrival of Jetour’s exclusive showroom signals a broader shift in the Nigerian automotive landscape, as global brands intensify efforts to meet local demand for technologically advanced, fuel-efficient, and durable vehicles.

With this strategic entry into the market, Jetour joins a growing list of international auto brands deepening their presence in Nigeria, tapping into an increasingly dynamic consumer base seeking value, innovation, and reliability.

The new showroom is expected to serve as a strategic retail and service hub not just for Lagos residents but for customers across Nigeria, reinforcing the country’s growing relevance in Africa’s automotive economy.
