Delta Governor Oborevwori praises Aviation Minister Keyamo on 56th birthday

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Chief Festus Keyamo, SAN, on the occasion of his 56th birthday, celebrated on January 21.

In a statement issued on Wednesday in Asaba by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, Governor Oborevwori described Chief Keyamo as a distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria and a dedicated public servant whose contributions to national development have been significant and far-reaching.

The Governor applauded Keyamo’s role in repositioning Nigeria’s aviation and aerospace sector, noting that his leadership has helped strengthen safety standards, improve institutional efficiency, and boost investor confidence within the industry.

He emphasized that the Minister’s efforts have brought renewed focus and visibility to the aviation sector at a critical time for the country.

“Chief Keyamo’s commitment to improving the aviation sector is commendable,” the Governor said. “His contributions have been instrumental in advancing safety and operational standards, which are essential for the sector’s growth.”

Governor Oborevwori also praised Keyamo’s consistency, courage, and professionalism in public office, highlighting his steadfast dedication to service and national progress.

The Governor further commended the Aviation Minister for his unwavering support for the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly in Delta State, where Keyamo’s political influence and leadership have strengthened the party’s structures and unity.

“He is a dependable party leader and bridge-builder whose efforts have helped consolidate the APC across the state and the nation,” Oborevwori added.

Oborevwori described Chief Keyamo as a “worthy son of Delta State” whose exemplary service has brought pride to the state.
