Chelsea rule out Cole Palmer exit, dismiss Manchester United links

A report by The Telegraph said the club has internally labelled Palmer as “untouchable,” making it clear that his future lies in west London.

“I’ve had numerous conversations with Cole and he seems very, very happy to be here,” Rosenior said. “He is very, very happy to be here. He’s a huge part of our plans in the long term. He’s an outstanding player.”

Rosenior further clarified that Palmer’s limited appearances this season were due to fitness concerns rather than personal or tactical issues. The forward has been managing a groin problem, which has restricted him to just 12 league appearances so far.

“He was frustrated because he couldn’t perform to the level he wanted to,” Rosenior explained. “He was in pain. That’s why I didn’t involve him in the last game.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea remain focused on their broader season objectives as the club continues its rebuilding process, with attention reportedly on strengthening the defence and midfield. The Cole Palmer transfer rumours, however, are said not to feature in internal discussions.
