Legendary Canadian singer Celine Dion is set to make a highly anticipated return to the stage, marking her first major live performances in nearly a decade following her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.

The 57-year-old will perform at the Paris La Défense Arena, Europe’s largest indoor venue, with shows scheduled for September and October. The announcement has already generated excitement, with promotional posters featuring her iconic songs, including The Power of Love and My Heart Will Go On, appearing across Paris.

The concerts will be Dion’s first in France since 2017. She had previously cancelled several tour dates due to the COVID-19 pandemic and later halted her Courage World Tour following her diagnosis with the rare neurological condition, which causes severe muscle stiffness and spasms.

Despite the challenges, Dion has remained committed to her recovery, working closely with a sports medicine therapist to rebuild her strength and vocal performance.

“I’m going to come onstage because I’m ready… I’m going to hit those notes,” she said in an earlier interview, expressing confidence in her return.

In 2024, she delivered a powerful performance at the Paris 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremony, reaffirming her resilience and enduring vocal ability. More recently, she was unveiled as a global ambassador for Charlotte Tilbury, further signaling her re-emergence into the spotlight.

Dion’s upcoming shows are widely seen as a triumphant comeback, underscoring her determination and lasting influence in global music.
