The All-Progressive Congress United Kingdom Southwest State Caucus (APCUKSWSC) congratulates the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and National Leader of APC-President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his one-year anniversary of piloting the affairs of the nation, describing it as a proactive and transparent experience.

APCUKSWSC Chairman Hon. Andrew Taiwo in a statement issued in the UK on Tuesday, described the Tinubu led administration as one with the required acumen for viable development, driven by focused policies and necessary will power to ensure attainment of the promised Renewed Hope Agenda for the citizenry.

Highlighting the achievements, Hon.Taiwo harped on the long run benefits of some of the steps being taken by Tinubu’s government, while citing the intricate nature of Nigeria’s polity, the shades of development and how difficult it could be when one decides to change the old order.

According to him going by the truly sincere mien of Mr. President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, all geared towards even development across the Niger, the positive multiplier effect is not far-fetched and it will breed good tidings for all very soon.

“We at APCUKSWSC heartily congratulate our great leader-President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on this auspicious day that he clocks a year manning the number one office in true service to the people. It is a fact that President Tinubu is the Chief Marketing Officer of Nigeria to the world prior to his eventual victory at polls a year ago and that he has given a clear commitment and passion.

“His attainment for this whole year we are celebrating are quite visible; namely his spontaneous move to like a medical genius arrest the economic bleeding that nearly end Nigeria in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), by announcing the total removal of fuel subsidy at his inauguration as President.

“Also, his adept policies rolled in quick successions to rejig Nigeria’s hailing economy through a fiscal policy targeted at halting the usual round tripping, which had a ripple effect on the Naira currency in the world market, his Renewed Hope Infrastructure Development Fund (RHIDF) and many more.”

Hon Taiwo also hinted that Tinubu’s father-figure mien was evident in his prompt intervention in the Rivers State political quagmire which is clearly not a concern of his party and the recent decision by one of the governorship aspirants in Ondo state, to settle dispute amicably moving away from the legal tussle.

He further eulogizes Asiwaju for constituting a think-tank cabinet, “The choice of his cabinet members is another superb angle to consider, as many of them are clearly egg-heads, who knows their onions so well.

“I will cite some here- Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo who is clearly doing a great works, Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris a clear-headed communicator, CBN Governor Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, Olawale Edun Minister of finance and co-ordinating Minister of the Economy and many others, his team is populated with competence and capacity.

“Also, one cannot lose sight of his thoughtfulness, in that given the reforms certain pragmatic tranquilizers are being administered to reduce the transient pains of the time, even as his can-do style is already translating to direct foreign investments. Let alone economic relief and benefits to the pockets and livelihoods of Nigerians, by way of grants, education loans, food and fertilizer distribution, cash transfers, health insurance, and consumer credit. Disbursement has since commenced and nano-grants of fifty thousand Naira each intended for one million Nigerians.

“From the look of things his eight-point agenda as couched, has been impactful and it is a fact that Nigeria and Nigerians will be better for it. Once again, I on behalf of the APCUKSWSC congratulate you profoundly sir. Happy anniversary and wish you many more wins.”
