‘Behind The Scenes’ becomes highest-grossing Nollywood film in UK, Ireland

Nollywood film Behind The Scenes has achieved a major international milestone, emerging as the highest-grossing Nollywood release in the United Kingdom and Ireland, with earnings of £159,000.

The movie, distributed by FilmOne Entertainment, also recorded impressive success at the domestic box office, grossing N2.7 billion and ranking among the highest-earning Nollywood titles of all time.

In a post shared on its Instagram page, the distributor described the feat as a record-breaking run and a defining moment for African cinema.

“A record-breaking run. A defining moment for African cinema,” the company stated, noting that the film continues to draw audiences across multiple regions.
