Iconic music sensation Celine Dion has been heartbroken to see her performances scheduled for November 5 to 20, 2021 and January 19 to February 5, 2022 canceled due to medical reasons.

In a statement she shared on Instagram, the 53-year-old Canadian born singer who was due to begin her brand-new show in the new Resorts World Theatre next month explained that she had to cancel the scheduled performances while expressing how heartbroken she was:

‘I’m heartbroken by this. My team and I have been working on our new show for the past eight months, and to not be able to open this November saddens me beyond words.

‘My partners at Resorts World Las Vegas and AEG have been working around the clock to get this brand-new state-of-the-art theatre ready, and it’s absolutely beautiful.’

She continued: ‘I feel so bad that I’m letting them down, and I’m especially sorry for disappointing all the fans who’ve been making their plans to come to Las Vegas. Now, I have to focus on getting better… I want to get through this as soon as I can.’

Sadly, the music idol who has successfully ruled the music world has been experiencing severe and persistent muscle spasms which are preventing her from performing.

Her medical team will continue to evaluate and treat her as she attempts to recover.

Meanwhile, National Daily can confirm that tickets purchased with a credit card through authorized ticketing outlets at axs.com or Resorts World Las Vegas will be refunded automatically.

It has also been further confirmed that ticket holders of the canceled performances will receive a pre-sale opportunity for first access when new show dates are announced.

Nevertheless, National Daily understands that the hitmaker’s Courage world tour is still scheduled to resume beginning March 9, 2022.

The tour, which was in support of her album of the same name, was pushed back due to the impact of the coronavirus.

Celine Dion’s numerous fans worldwide can only wish their music icon the best of health.
