Festus Keyamo, a spokesperson for the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2023 elections, has denied reports that he has filed a lawsuit against Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the APC’s presidential candidate, on claims of certificate fraud.

The Lagos State House of Assembly, not Tinubu, was the target of the lawsuit, according to the state’s minister of labor and employment.

He replied, “I never sued Tinubu. No. I filed a lawsuit against the House of Assembly to get the law explained.

Recall After suing Tinubu while he was the governor of Lagos state for allegedly forging certificates, Keyamo came under fire for becoming the APC flag bearer’s spokesman.

Following a statement by Daniel Bwala, the spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Campaign Organization, who stated that Keyamo sued Tinubu during his first stint as governor of Lagos state, Keyamo responded.

Bwala cited Keyamo V. House of Assembly, Lagos State (2002)18 NWLR (Pt. 799)605 in an interview on Television with a correspondent.

Keyamo responded to the assertion by saying that since he is now “the greatest champion of Asiwaju on the subject,” which the Supreme Court decided upon, anyone who believes he would still harbor grudges more than 20 years later should conduct a mental examination.

He said, “Once the Supreme Court rules on a matter, it becomes binding on everyone, even the losing attorney, and he is compelled to obey and support the court’s decision. Therefore, assuming (which is not conceded) that I made any sort of accusation in the matter, once the Supreme Court made its decision, that was the end of the matter, and going forward, it is incumbent upon me to refrain from pursuing a matter that has already been resolved by the nation’s highest court and to defend the ruling.

Nigerians would learn directly from the source about what actually happened during the conflict that raged at the time and how the issue was finally resolved.

We fought these wars not out of hatred and resentment but rather to “unravel the truth and the true constitutional powers of the House.

“Therefore, once the matter is resolved, we move on. Anyone who believes I would have grudges after more than two decades should have their heads examined.
