Fireworks over CSU deposition on Tinubu
Spread The News

There has been intense fireworks across the country since the Chicago State University made oral deposition on the education document of President Bola Tinubu at the university.

The Chicago State University saga has seemingly exposed President Tinubu to unconventional trail in the public court of the open society, the trial leverages on social media platforms.

The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo SAN, had asserted that the journey of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar to and fro Chicago State University was fruitless after the university released the education document confirming that Tinubu attended and graduated there with specified dates.

Others felt differently.

One of the spokespersons of the Tinubu/Shettima President Campaign Council, Bayo Onanuga, stoke fresh fire that triggered caustic political fireworks on the X social media platform.

Onanuga triggering fresh fireworks,  stated:

“Caleb Westberg, registrar of Chicago State University has completed the oral deposition on President Bola Tinubu’s documents at the university.

“Again, just like the preceding documents, Atiku got nothing to use to remove Tinubu as the elected President of Nigeria.

“I hope he will now allow Tinubu to govern in peace.”

Onanuga, seemingly unexpectedly received harsh responses from other stakeholders, however, received some backings from some others.

A stakeholder urgently berated Onanuga:

Mahdi Shehu
@shehu_mahdi

“You were either in slumber while watching the testimony or absent-minded, or too daft and senile to comprehend or too unintelligent to understand, or indeed, you are simply dishonest like your master. The testimony was the final nail on the coffin of Tinubu, the MASTER FORGER.”

Onanuga fired back:

“I believe some Nigerians are just deaf and blind to facts. They are so obsessed with their own false reality.”

Then, another stakeholder joined the firework, stating –

“I’m shocked that you still haven’t got the point, Sir.

“I hope you’re aware that campaign had stopped several months ago! The issue now is how we MUST all come together, as one people, to rescue our Nation from the current mess!

“We must be intentional about changing the negative narratives of Nigeria and Nigerians! “Only a child would think this is all about scoring a political point!

A responsible adult who is in his right senses should feel the heat of this shame and smell the pungent odour of this national embarrassment! Sir,

“I want to believe you’re an adult.”

And an angry stakeholder stated:

@addel_cares

“No, he is not, he is still playing politics with this national embarrassment,

“I wonder what he would be teaching his children and grand children.

“Maybe they would bring forged certificates to him.”

But this stakeholder countered in the fireworks, stating:

Daniel Bugarti
@Buggari

“Which embarrassment? It was Atiku that went to embarrass himself, honestly.

“Only thing is he dragged Nigeria along with him. His fraud case should be reopened so he can serve jail time as punishment.”

And someone simply asked:

@ManfredEnehize2
“What a national disgrace?”

Meanwhile, the main heat over the document or deposition of the CSU is that each stakeholder takes a section of the document to suit his or her interpretation or debate on the education status of the President; some add political colouration.

The debates have relegated patriotism and nationalism in Nigeria to secondary importance.
