Greatness is indeed a lifestyle not an event in one’s life time. As much as we celebrate everyone who has attained a stature of significance in our generation, we should understand that they didn’t become great in a day, rather a product of what they gave themselves to daily. David was in the bush but already living in the palace in his mind. David didn’t become a king in the palace but the day he started taking responsibility, his kingship was a product of shepherding his father’s sheep.

A king without a great mind is a slave on the throne, David’s virtue, character; lifestyle in the bush, when no man sees him attracted an anointing. It’s just them. It’s What has been built overtime that can become a legacy of a life time.

Your lifestyle is the real you, whether living like a mediocre or like a great man the product that comes out of you is a mere attestation of what has been cultivated over time. So people celebrate the award not the inward labor. Greatness is not the celebration of an award but a commendation of a lifetime labor.
