Also present are Frank Onyeka, Adebayo Adeleye, Samuel Chukwueze and Maduka Okoye, with more players expected to join the squad later.

The team is lodged at the Bellis Deluxe Hotel in Antalya, with their first training session scheduled for Wednesday at 4 p.m. local time (2 p.m. Nigerian time). Camp officially opened on Tuesday with the arrival of coaches and team officials.

Super Eagles Media Officer, Promise Efoghe, expressed satisfaction with the early turnout, describing the atmosphere in camp as positive.

“We are encouraged by the level of commitment shown by the players. Having 15 already in camp on the first day is a good sign,” Efoghe said.

He added that the technical crew is focused on maximising the limited training sessions ahead of the matches against Iran and Jordan.

“Our objective is to ensure proper preparation and team cohesion before the friendlies. The coaches are eager to get to work immediately,” he said.

Efoghe also assured that the remaining invited players are expected to arrive soon, allowing the coaching staff ample time to implement their plans.

Head coach Eric Chelle had earlier named captain Wilfred Ndidi, Iwobi and Ademola Lookman in a 23-man squad for the friendlies.

The fixtures, initially scheduled for Amman, were moved to Antalya due to security concerns in the Middle East. Nigeria will face Iran on March 27 before taking on Jordan on March 31.
