Kogi 2023: APC Chieftain Audu donates branded vehicles,other campaign materials

… bolsters Ododo’s support base

Ahead of Kogi State gubernatorial election slated for November, 2023 an All Progressive Congress (APC) Chieftain Engr.Murtala Audu has pitched tent with the Kogi State gubernatorial candidate of the party Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, citing his proven understanding of how the state polity runs and ability to uplift the state to a greater height after the incumbent Governor Yahaya Bello as his endearing qualities.

Audu the Buhari Youth Organization’s National Vice President and Aare Omoluabi Oodua Agbaye, made the remark while on a courtesy visit to the candidate and Governor Yahaya Bello.

He opined that given the depth of Ododo in public administration in his initially assigned post, Kogi is in safe hands with him as Governor.

“We firmly believe that your candidacy represents a significant opportunity for positive change, growth, and development in our beloved state.

“Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo is a seasoned leader with a profound understanding of the challenges facing our state and a clear vision for its future.

“His years of experience in public service and his commitment to serving the people have earned him our utmost respect and admiration.

Eng. Audu who doubles as the Vice Chairman, Advisory Council, Arewa Youth for Tinubu while endorsing the candidate also declared an unwavering support for him by donating branded cars and some other campaign materials for the upcoming Elections in Kogi State.

Audu used the avenue to commend Governor Yahaya Bello for the great work done in Kogi State.

“Your policies and programmes are centered around key sectors such as security, education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, and job creation.

“We applaud Alh. Ododo’s unwavering dedication to the welfare and wellbeing of the people of Kogi State,his leadership will
witness remarkable progress and result in the much-needed transformation.

“As the former Auditor-General, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo’s leadership style is characterized by objectivity, transparency, and accountability.

“He has consistently demonstrated his ability to listen to the concerns of the people and translate them into practical solutions.

“We believe that his approach to governance will foster unity, promote participatory decision-making, and create an enabling environment for sustainable development.” Audu said.

He however, called upon all well-meaning citizens, political stakeholders, and residents of Kogi State to rally behind Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo’s candidacy, while urging all to set aside their differences and come together in unity to work collectively towards building a brighter future for the state.

“We extend our profound gratitude to Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for his willingness to serve and his commitment for the betterment of Kogi State.

“We are confident that with his leadership, our state will experience significant progress, improved social services, and a renewed sense of pride.” Engr. Audu reiterated.

Responding to Audu’s kind gesture and endorsement of his candidacy Alh Ahmed Usman Ododo appreciated and tasked him to ensure all nooks and crannies of the state feels his political influence, most especially the youth and women.

He cited Audu’s wealth of political experience as a plus which can translate into motivation not just for the voters but for both indigines and residents of Kogi State.

Governor Yahaya Bello, who was glad to receive the guest and the campaign support materials, in his usual eloquent choice of words appreciates Audu’s kind gesture geared towards aiding good political fortunes for the party ahead of the coming elections.

He however, urged him to mobilize massively from the ward level to all polling units where he has his foot soldiers evenly spread and be sure of posterity afterward.
