Lagos APC swears in new party executives

The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) on Monday sworn in new executive members that will paddle the canoe of the party for the next four years.
The inauguration of  the newly constituted executive members validates their offices.
The inauguration ceremony started as early as 9:00 a.m. with party leaders, executive members, invited guests, press all seated at the party hall for the event.
In his opening address at the inauguration,the party Chairman, Hon. Pastor Cornelius Oyefolu Ojelabi,who has earlier been sworn in at the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja congratulated all the elected executives of the party, as they have all been bestowed with rare opportunity of serving the Progressives party.
He exalts them to taken this advantage and write their names with gold ink.
He urged them to reawaken their conscience towards taking the party to the next level.He particularly told them to go back home and begin the process of Harmony and genuine reconciliation.
‘ You are taking the oath of office today to serve the people of Lagos State and the party members irrespective of affiliation or cacaus.Take everybody as your people and constituents and care for them.’ Ojelabi said.
Prince Tajudeen Olusi, Chairman Governor’s Advisory Council congratulated the  newly inaugurated executive members,he appreciates the relentless efforts of the party leaders in ensuring the success of the party at all levels but showed his displeasure about the present situation of the party at the National level.He appeals to the newly inaugurated executive members to take time to learn the tenets and manifestoes of the party to be able to discharge their duties accordingly.
On his party, the former Chairman of the party, Chief Henry Oladele Ajomale express his delight at the caliber of people at the helms of affairs of the party,but advised that the newly costituted executives should learn about the party and the system of the party.
He appealed to the new party Chairman to organize a seminar to help in updating the knowledge of the members on the rudiments of organising a political party which will help in grassroots mobilisation.
The new executives were sworn in by the former party legal adviser, Hon Babatunde Ogabi,Saidat Olayinka the Vice Chairman, Lagos East gave the vote of thanks.

Party leaders, faithfuls, invited guests and the media were all at the event.
