The Lagos State University (LASU) football team recorded their first win at the ongoing 11th All Africa University Games (FASU), defeating Federal University Oye, Ekiti, by a score of 2-1.

The Lagos State University football team dominated the early stages of the game, scoring their first goal through Emmanuel Okoro.

Despite a brief resurgence from FUOYE, LASU maintained control and secured the winning goal through Elijah Ayeni.

FUOYE coach Blessing Ayodeji-Ojo attributed the loss to a lack of concentration and missed opportunities.

He expressed hope for a better performance in their final game.
