Mouka, Nigeria’s foremost foam and bedding manufacturer and a flagship indigenous brand under the Dolidol International Group, has announced that its Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Oladimeji Adekunle Osingunwa, has been selected as the recipient of the Creative & Branding Icon Award 2025.

The prestigious recognition, organised by Marketing Space, Nigeria’s leading brands and marketing communications magazine, is part of the annual Brand Handlers Summit & Awards.

According to the organisers, Mr. Osingunwa emerged after a rigorous evaluation process conducted by a panel of respected industry assessors who examined originality, strategic depth, and measurable impact on brand and business performance.

Marketing Space noted that Mr. Osingunwa’s contributions to brand development and the evolution of Nigeria’s commercial landscape stood out for their consistency, creativity, and results-driven approach, particularly in strengthening brand equity and consumer engagement.

Widely regarded as one of Nigeria’s commercial icons, Mr. Osingunwa has, in his role as Chief Commercial Officer at Mouka Ltd, played a central role in refining go-to-market strategies, deepening consumer relevance, and driving sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive market.

His leadership has been credited with repositioning Mouka as a trusted household brand while maintaining strong commercial performance.

Born in Ketu, Kosofe Local Government Area of Lagos State, and with roots in Ilishan Remo, Ogun State, Mr. Osingunwa’s early life was shaped by resilience, cultural values, and diverse experiences.

These formative influences, he has often noted, underpin his people-centred leadership philosophy and his belief that strong brands are built by first investing in people.

His professional career spans several leading multinational and indigenous organisations, including Twinning Ovaltine, SC Johnson, Cadbury Nigeria, and Print Inks Nigeria Limited.

Across these organisations, he consistently delivered value by strengthening routes to market, sharpening brand strategies, and accelerating growth, often achieving double-digit business expansion through disciplined and creative brand building.

Beyond commercial execution, Mr. Osingunwa is widely respected as a mentor and talent developer. His commitment to youth empowerment has earned him the title of Grand Patron of the Youth in both Ketu and Ilishan Remo communities.

His personal qualities—resilience, diligence, passion, and a results-oriented mindset—have inspired professionals across corporate and community spaces.

Academically, he holds a Diploma in Statistics from Yaba College of Technology, an MBA from Lagos State University, and has completed executive programmes at Lagos Business School. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in International Business.

He is also a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN) and a member of the Society for Corporate Governance of Nigeria (SCGN).
