In a move to strengthen inter-agency collaboration and advance Nigeria’s technological ecosystem, senior officials from the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) held a high-level meeting in Abuja.
The discussions centered on leveraging innovation and commercialization to promote renewable energy solutions and locally manufactured smartphones for Nigeria’s growing population.
The Executive Vice-Chairman and CEO of the NCC, Dr. Aminu Maida, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration via his verified social media account.

Speaking about the collaboration, Khalil Suleiman Halilu, NASENI’s Executive Vice-Chairman and CEO, emphasized the importance of aligning NASENI’s technical expertise with NCC’s regulatory and industry reach.
