One of the governorship aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, Jimoh Ibrahim, has declared his resolve to challenge the APC primary election for the governorship election in the state in the court.

He declared that the APC primary election was a mega fraud, saying that certified true copies of the INEC reports of APC Primary election as presented by the officials billed to monitor the exercise concluded that election did not take place in 15 of the 18 LGAs.

Jimoh Ibrahim in a statement on Wednesday declared: @JimohIbrahimCFR

“Yesterday, I distributed the certified true copies of the INEC reports of APC Primary election to journalists where the officials billed to monitor the exercise concluded that election did not take place in 15 out of 18LGAs.

“I hereby challenge Governor Usman Ododo who was the chairman of the election committee to come forward with proof of election conducted on April 20, 2024 where any of the aspirants voted in their respective wards, including Governor Aiyedatiwa who was fraudulently declared winner.

“I am already in court with the determination to pursue the case to a logical conclusion at the Supreme Court. I have exhausted all the internal party mechanisms for political settlement, including a written petition to the Appeal Committee set up by the party,… ..and also wrote to the National Working Committee, NWC the highest decision making of the party, all to no avail. Therefore, I am at liberty to approach the court of law for judicial solutions.”
