Police arrest over 20 suspected kidnappers, armed robbers

The Nigeria Police revealed that the Force arrested over 20 suspected kidnappers and armed robbers at different locations in Enugu State, South East Nigeria.

The Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Sulaiman Balarabe, had at a media briefing, indicated that the suspected kidnappers and armed robbers were arrested at their various hideouts.

The Enugu Police Command narrated that the suspects were involved in kidnapping, armed robbery, illegal possession of firearms, and cultism, among other violent crimes.

Police Investigators disclosed that items recovered from the suspects include locally made guns, laptops, live ammunition, and AK 47.

Balarabe, however, assured residents and visitors of the safety of lives and property in the state.
