Manchester United winger, Marcus Rashford has sparked a debate on whether he will be staying at Old Trafford after January window or not, after saying he is “ready for a new challenge.”

Speaking in a recent interview with Henry Winter, the England international said that when he leaves Old Trafford, there will be “no hard feelings.”

Rashford’s comments come two days after Man United manager,  Ruben Amorim dropped him entirely from the squad which played the Manchester derby against league champions and arch-rivals, City.

The Red Devils came back from behind and went on to win the encounter at Etihad Stadium 2-1.

However, Amorim’s decision to drop the 27-year-old Rashford has led to speculation about his future with Man United.

Addressing issues concerning his continued stay at Old Trafford, Rashford said, “For me, personally, I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps.

“When I leave, it’s going to be ‘no hard feelings’. You’re not going to hear any negative comments from me about Man United.

That’s me. I will always be a Red.”

He went on to score two goals on both his first-team and European debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.

He also scored in his first Manchester derby, as well as on his EFL Cup and UEFA Champions League debuts.
