Rihanna leaves Los Angeles after gunfire incident at Beverly Hills home

Grammy-winning global music star Rihanna departed Los Angeles on Monday, just hours after a shooting incident was reported at her residence in Beverly Hills.

The singer was reportedly seen boarding a private jet at Van Nuys Airport, where her luggage was transported in several vehicles to the airport’s private terminal before her departure.

Authorities have identified the suspect in the shooting as Ivanna Lisette Ortiz.

According to reports, Ortiz was arrested on Sunday after allegedly firing multiple gunshots at the home shared by Rihanna and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky.

Police said the suspect arrived at the property in a Tesla vehicle armed with a semi-automatic rifle and allegedly discharged about ten rounds toward the residence located in Beverly Hills.

Investigators who responded to the scene discovered at least four bullet holes in the gate of the estate. Additional rounds reportedly struck the garage of a neighboring property, raising concerns among residents in the upscale neighborhood.

After the incident, Ortiz fled the scene but was later apprehended approximately 12 kilometers away from the residence. Authorities also recovered the Tesla believed to have been used in the attack.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that no one was injured during the shooting, and there were no reports of physical harm to Rihanna, her family, or staff members at the residence.

Ortiz has since been formally charged with attempted murder, while investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the attack and determine the motive behind the alleged shooting.

Law enforcement officials say the investigation remains ongoing as they gather further evidence related to the case.
