Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Commissioner of Police for the Federal Capital Territory, CP Tunji Disu, following the tragic death of his son, Adam Kaka Disu.
Adam, a recent graduate who had just completed his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program, lost his life in a car accident on Monday night.
Governor Sanwo-Olu expressed his sympathies in a statement released on Tuesday by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr. Gboyega Akosile. The Governor described the news as shocking and deeply painful, emphasizing the profound grief that accompanies the loss of a young and promising life.
In his message, Governor Sanwo-Olu urged the bereaved family and friends to find solace in God, despite the irreparable nature of their loss.
“On behalf of my family, the government, and the people of Lagos State, I sympathize with CP Tunji Disu, a former Commander of the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos Police Command, on the loss of his beloved son,” Sanwo-Olu stated.
He continued, “No doubt, the death of a loved one, especially a recent graduate who had just completed his one-year NYSC programme, is painful and shocking. However, we must take solace in God, who understands all things.”

Sanwo-Olu also extended his condolences to the extended Disu family and friends of the deceased, praying for divine strength to help them endure this challenging time.
The Governor concluded his statement by praying for Adam Kaka Disu’s soul to find eternal rest and for God to grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear this devastating loss.
“I pray that God will grant the late Adam Kaka Disu eternal rest and give his family, particularly his parents, the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” Sanwo-Olu said.
The tragic passing of Adam Disu has left many in shock, highlighting the unpredictable nature of life and the need for collective support during times of grief.
