The Police Command in Kaduna State, on Tuesday, revealed that its operatives, in synergy with the Military and other other security agencies, have embarked massive clearance operations to restore peace and order across the state.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP Mansir Hassan, in a statement on Tuesday in Kaduna, highlighted: “the operation was launched in a renewed and intensified effort to combat insurgents, bandits and other criminal elements across Kaduna State and its environs.
“The Command, in synergy with the Military, Department of State Services (DSS), Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kaduna State Vigilance Service ( KADVS), and local hunters, has launched a comprehensive clearance operation within Makarfi, Hunkuyi, and Ikara Local Government Areas.”
The PPRO said the operation was strategically designed to flush out criminal hideouts, dismantle illegal camps and restore absolute peace and stability within all the nooks and crannies of the affected areas.
“It is also in strict compliance with the marching orders of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, directing all Commands to intensify efforts toward eliminating crime and criminality in their jurisdictions,” Hassan said.
He said the Commissioner of Police, (CP) Muhammad Rabiu, assured the public that these operations would be continuous and robust, with all the security agencies maintaining close collaboration to ensure a crime-free environment.
