Sergi Roberto sounds warning to Barcelona ahead of Copa del Rey clash with Atletico Madrid

Former Barcelona midfielder, Sergi Roberto, has issued a stark warning to his old club ahead of their Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Atletico Madrid at the Spotify Camp Nou on Tuesday night.

Roberto cautioned that Barcelona must be vigilant against attackers like Ademola Lookman, who impressed in the first leg, as Atletico look to defend their commanding 4-0 advantage secured last month.

Lookman starred by scoring a goal and providing an assist, highlighting the threat posed by Diego Simeone’s side.

Speaking to Barca Blaugranes, Roberto said: “We cannot get carried away. Atletico Madrid is very dangerous on the counter-attack, with top-level players up front who exploit space very well. The start of the match is crucial and we need to score as quickly as possible.”
