The Nigeria national football team will take on Poland national football team and Portugal national football team in two high-profile international friendlies in June 2026, the Nigeria Football Federation has confirmed.

Following their recent outings in Antalya, Turkey—where Nigeria recorded a win over Iran and a draw against Jordan—the three-time African champions are set for a stern European test in the next FIFA international window.

According to NFF’s FIFA Match Agent, Jairo Pachon, Nigeria will face Poland on June 3, 2026, at the PGE Narodowy in Warsaw.

Four days later, on June 10, 2026, the Super Eagles will square off against Portugal, with the venue yet to be officially announced. The clash will serve as Portugal’s final warm-up match before heading to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

The friendlies are expected to provide an opportunity for the Nigerian coaching crew to fine-tune tactics, assess player combinations, and build cohesion ahead of upcoming competitive fixtures.

In addition, the Super Eagles are set to defend their title at the Unity Cup Tournament, scheduled to take place in London from May 26 to 30.
