Taxaide Technologies Limited (Taxtech), one of Nigeria’s foremost providers of tax administration and data security technologies, has announced a major milestone—its 10th Anniversary Celebration—alongside the hosting of the 2025 Africa Data Security Conclave (ADSC).
The announcement was made recently at a press conference in Lagos attended by industry leaders, media professionals, and technology partners.
Speaking at the briefing, Bidemi Olumide, Chief Executive Officer of Taxtech, reflected on the company’s growth from a low-profile innovator to a leading player in Africa’s digital governance landscape.
“Taxtech has been building quietly. Now is the time to let the world know us, like us, and project us appropriately,” Olumide said. “Our story is simple: we automate processes and we secure data.”
He emphasized that the Africa Data Security Conclave is designed as a homegrown platform for addressing the continent’s unique digital security challenges.
“ADSC is where we call Africa together to discuss data security issues and design solutions tailored to our context. We cannot continue to adopt Western approaches wholesale.”
Scheduled for 26–27 November 2025, the ADSC will bring together regulators, cybersecurity experts, public sector leaders, technologists, finance professionals, innovators, and development partners for two days of high-level discourse on Africa’s digital future.
The Conclave will adopt a hybrid format, enabling both in-person and virtual participation.

Olugbenga Sile, Executive Director and Partner, Management Support Services at Taxtech, stressed the importance of inclusiveness:
“The ADSC is a conversation everyone needs to join. You don’t need to be a digital security expert. AI is now part of everything we do.”
Also speaking at the briefing, Joshua Oladunjoye, Chief Technology Officer, and Oyeyemi Oke, Executive Director/Partner, Data Security Services, highlighted Taxtech’s pioneering role in shaping Nigeria’s and Africa’s digital security ecosystem.
