Reaffirming the strong diplomatic relations between U.S. and Israel, Biden declared that the attack on Israel by Hamas was not distant tragedy.
Biden insisted: “it is personal for so many American families who are feeling the pain of this attack as well as the scars inflicted through millennia of antisemitism and persecution of Jewish people”
He stated that American security network is on red alert monitoring the cities against any domestic threats in relation to the terrorist attack in Israel.
The U.S. President in a
statement emphasized:
President Biden
“This is not some distant tragedy – the ties between Israel and the United States run deep.
“It is personal for so many American families who are feeling the pain of this attack as well as the scars inflicted through millennia of antisemitism and persecution of Jewish people.
“In cities across the country, local and federal law enforcement partners are closely monitoring for any domestic threats in connection with the horrific terrorist attacks in Israel.”
Former U.S. President Barack Obama also declared support for Israel, pointing out that Israel is an ally of the U.S.
Canada and several other European Union (EU) members have also declared support for Israel in the shelling of the Gaza Strip and the war against Hamas.
However, Russia, the Arab World, China, North Korea, are perceived to have formed an alliance to support Palestine in the ongoing war in the Middle East.
There is the fear of a probable World War III arising from ongoing military conflicts across the world.
