Tinubu appoints ex-NPA MD, Usman, others as Special Advisers

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed two more Special Advisers and two Senior Assistants.

The newly appointed Special Advisers include Hadiza Bala Usman, who will serve as the Special Adviser for Policy Coordination, and Hannatu Musa Musawa, who has been appointed as the Special Adviser for Culture and Entertainment Economy.

On the other hand, the two new Special Assistants are Sen. Abdullahi Abubakar Gumel, who assumes the role of Senior Special Assistant for National Assembly Matters (Senate), and Hon. (Barr) Olarewaju Kunle Ibrahim, who takes up the position of Senior Special Assistant for National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives).

Hadiza Bala Usman is a prominent figure in Nigerian politics and governance.

She has extensive experience in public service, having served as the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and as a key player in various government agencies. Usman is known for her expertise in policy coordination and her commitment to driving economic growth and development.

Hannatu Musa Musawa is a renowned advocate for culture and the entertainment industry in Nigeria. Musawa’s appointment as the Special Adviser for Culture and Entertainment Economy reflects her deep understanding and passion for harnessing the potential of these industries for national development.

Abdullahi Abubakar Gumel brings a wealth of legislative experience to his role as the Senior Special Assistant for National Assembly Matters (Senate). With a background in politics and a successful career as a senator, Gumel is well-versed in navigating the intricacies of the Nigerian legislative process. His appointment highlights the President’s commitment to effective collaboration and communication with the Senate.

Hon. (Barr) Olarewaju Kunle Ibrahim is an accomplished lawyer and politician. His appointment as the Senior Special Assistant for National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives) reflects his deep understanding of legislative affairs and his ability to engage effectively with members of the House. Ibrahim’s experience in legal matters and his political acumen make him a valuable asset in bridging the gap between the executive and legislative branches of government.
