Nigerians have been urged to bear the necessary sacrifices and labour required to bring about a great future as envisioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The Deputy Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly Hon. Adedamola Kasunmu made this call in a chat with newsmen, after the 3rd annual Alhaja (Dr.) Abibat Mogaji Ramadan lecture he organized in posthumous honour of his late grand mum and his late mother Alhaja Abiodun Kasunmu.
Speaking to the lecture titled: “Strengthening Community Bonds to foster a sense of unity and togetherness beyond Ramadan”, Kasunmu said that with President Tinubu’s large heartedness which is an attribute that resonates all through his lineage, especially that of the late matriarchs whose memory the Ramadan lecture is commemorating, he is capable of taking Nigeria to the proposed destination.
“It may seem tough and bleak but I know that the future is great and has lots of benefits to come. If only we can just for now bear the sacrifices of that labour that we need to go through, to be able to harvest something great.
“I believe that if Nigerians are patient with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led government things will turn out well for all and sundry.”
Kasunmu however, tasked Nigerians to embrace unity in diversity, while stressing that this is the key ingredient required for better perception in the international community.
He added that coming to the aid of the less privilege is what runs in his family line and it must be sustained like he is doing, giving access to free education and ensuring students seamless progression through the academic cadres.

Dr. Shekoni speaks to the dictates of Allah concerning togetherness, while admonishing Muslims who filled the venue of the lecture to its brim, against segregation and discrimination, as they consciously fear God in their daily conducts.
He stressed further that; “Creating unity in diversity is a divine task for humans. Togetherness and being united is key because in unity there is power.
“In order to strengthen our existence on earth, in our country, family and state we just need to maintain unity and give President Tinubu the required support.”
Shekoni added that the virtue of respect for others and not trampling on their rights has a sure reward before God.
“The gains that we can realize from being bonded and united are numerous these includes; development, progress, power and the divine backing of Allah in all we do.
“In Ramadan the values of sharing, giving to the needy, being advocates of peace resonates we must sustain these after Ramadan.
