Social media sensation and CEO of Tiannah Empire, Toyin Lawani, has opened up her old wound in a podcast on You Tube.

She said she felt like speaking up now because no one will be hurt, especially her late parents.

“When I was 15, I got raped by one of my uncles,” she said.

“…but I couldn’t tell my mom and it was just so bad for me. You know when someone bullies you to the extent that you can’t talk.

She eventually opened up to one of her aunties who took her to Ibadan where they tried to get rid of the pregnancy.

Toyin was five months gone then, and she was processing her admission at UNILAG.

“I fainted when I went to get my admission. My mom was in Hong Kong and when she came back the doctor told her your daughter was pregnant and we took it out,” she said.

The dirty old man who knocked her up was so close to her family.

She said that experience has made her trust no one with her kids.

The fashion designer also added she hated her mom so much for it then—because she wasn’t there for her 15-year-old daughter.

“I didn’t understand until now that I have to do these same responsibilities for my kids I understand why she had to travel to Hong Kong, China and the rest.”
