Two things that may happen if Osinbajo is truly not interested in 2023 presidency

Whether you like him or hate him, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo, has stylishly became one of the major public figures that have already been shaping the contest for the presidential ticket of the ruling party, All Progressives Congress (APC), ahead of the 2023 general elections.

Although, he has not sincerely declared his intention whether he would be contesting for the presidential ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) or not, ahead of the 2023 general elections, but some politicians and citizens of the Federal Republic of Nigeria have been mentioning his name for the presidential ticket.

Also, the silence of the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, despite the speculations about his presidential ambition, may be considered as notable factor in the course of giving consideration to his purported presidential aspiration.

However, the latest information that was disclosed on Twitter by one of the political aides of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, Laolu Akande, indicated that he may not run for the Office of the President of Federal Republic of Nigeria, come 2023.

However, there are two political proximities that may unveil themselves, if Prof. Yemi Osibanjo decided not to contest for the presidential ticket of APC, ahead of the 2023 general elections.

1. Maximization of Tinubu’s Chances

Take it or leave it, the chances of the former Executive Governor of Lagos State and a National Leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, may become increased, if Prof. Yemi Osibanjo should refuse to join the presidential contest.

This may occur because, by predominance, Prof. Yemi Osibanjo would have no option than to direct, all, his supporters to work for the presidential ambition of his political master, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This is, arguable though, an advantage for the presidential aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

2. Defection or Anti Party Activity Is Possible
